I was about to go on stage. "Kenz, don't be nervous." Rumer, my back-up dancer, said. "Yeah, it's gonna be fine." My other back-up dancer, Helene, said. "Thanks guys. I'm just scared. What if they won't like my first original song? What if they're going to hate it?" I told them. "Kenzie, you're up!" The host for tonight told us. They turned down all the lights. I got on stage. There was a giant transparent curtain on stage so they wouldn't be able to really see us yet, they could only see our silhouettes. "EVERYBODY! HELP ME WELCOME. PERFORMING HER FIRST ORIGINAL SONG ENTITLED 'BREATHE', HERE IS THE QUEEN OF BEATS!" The host said. Thank God she only called me by my stage name. That guy, Johnny, would've recognized my name. I bet he would recognize me anyway when he sees me. I sigh. The intro of 'Breathe' started to play. I started to snap my fingers to the beat. Everyone cheered.
I could only see the silhouette of this so-called Queen of Beats. Damn, her figure already looked sexy even with those transparent curtains. "Dude, you aren't ready for this." Carson said. The song started to play. The girl on stage started to move. And woah she did have moves. And her song's intro sounded good already. Then... "Eyes on the prize..." She started to sing. Okay. Bingo! I'm definitely winning the bet already. "Dude! Are you hearing this? She's sooo good. You know what that means!" I cheerfully told Carson. He just laughed and nodded at what I said. "Mad at the world yeah I've been there before." She sounded so good. I have a thing for girls who can both do singing and dancing. This girl on stage is one of those girls.
